Bon Voyage to me!

Between buying a house and getting ready for our long vacation (3.5 weeks-whooo whooo), the day has come..
Tomorrow I will be heading to Europe and want to forget all about the craziness happened in the last 4 weeks..
All happy and excited but packing is not done yet. I hope to take cool pictures and write about cool fashion stories about my vacation upon my return..
But just before I leave check this out! I found these leather luggage tags from Swarovski and already placed them on my luggage. Aren’t they fun?

Have a fabulous July!

How about a $300 snakeskin pedicure?

While I was catching up on my monthly fashion magazines, I came across with this article on U.S Vogue-June issue and found it very very interesting.

The python trend is so happening this season and seems like it is here to stay for fall and next spring, OK it is not the interesting part. The interesting part is, you can even get a snakeskin manicure and pedicure! I know it sounds crazy and disgusting at first but when you learn the details and even watch the video it gets better. The pedicurist, Terri Silacci from Monterey CA, came up with this idea after her kids brought home sheds after going over to her neighbor who has a reptile shop. Silacci mentions she uses 100% naturally shedded snakeskin, because shedding is a natural process for snakes as they grow into their new skins, so no one is hurt for this nail job!

I have always been scared of this cold animal but surprisingly I didn’t even hesitate to buy my new snakeskin purse recently so I guess this mani & pedi might be something cool to try!  What is the difference of using a snakeskin bag than to use it on your nails, right?
Here is the video explaining how she does it! (Karadutum, don’t watch it!- my sister is extremely irritated by snakes-even pictures- so I am warning her :) )
