Hilary Swank at the 2011 Oscars

I had one of my WOW moments at the Oscars when I saw Hilary Swank. She walked down the red carpet in a gorgeous silver sequin strapless Gucci Premiere gown with ombre feathers at the bottom and a long train. It was a very feminine and romantic dress despite her masculine face and arms but she pulled it off nicely.

She finished her look with minimal make up & jewelry (she only wore rings) and a slicked back hair with a pin at the back. And voila..She definitely delivered the Hollywood glamour and looked like a million dollar baby.

Gwyneth Paltrow at the 2011 Oscars

Gwyneth shined on the red carpet with her minimalist, metallic, deep v-neck Calvin Klein gown. I loved her dress and how it complemented her skin tone and hair color. Her earrings and brooch from Louis Vuitton's jewelery collection (I really liked how she showed off her earring gracefully by pulling her hair behind) , gold pumps from Brian Atwood and her usual but always chic sleek hairdo finished her look perfectly. She was for sure the golden girl of the Oscars and she did a good job while performing her Oscar nominated song. Is there anything she can't do?

Cate Blanchett at the 2011 Oscars

I was literally glued to the TV when I saw Cate Blanchett at the Oscars. She looked stunning in her lilac, beaded, square shouldered Givenchy couture gown. Her hair, make-up, simple stud earrings (actually not too simple-they were good size yellow diamond studs) and her attitude, probably the most important element on the red carpet, made her the best dressed in my opinion.
Actually it wasn't too surprising to see her in an unusual dress like this because she always goes for the road less traveled and takes risk with her red carpet appearances. She can pull of any style from cutting edge to classic and always does a great job and always looks beautiful, elegant and fashion forward.
