More than 500 San Francisco fashionistas had a good excuse to get together at the historic landmark building, One Market Street and see SNOW II last month! SNOW II - like its name, was an all-white fashion event for the second year, featuring mini collections from local designers. I wonder who says SF is not a fashion forward city because the invite-only crowd was very enthusiastic and creative with their white outfits.
I was one of the stylists of this big event and had a great experience at the backstage.
While all-white dressed guests were waiting for the show to start, we did our last checks with the models. Models were waiting impatiently to walk the runway since they were waiting for a long time to get their hair and make-up done, rehearse, get into their outfits and wait for us to finalize their looks.
What I love about the fashion shows is, while it is getting all crazy and hectic at the backstage, models walk down rocking the runway so calm and cool and make the whole work behind it look like a piece of cake.
Of course it was months of hard work for the 20 minutes fashion show, from arranging the venue and sponsors, event marketing & PR, model castings, model fittings, and many more..Thanks to Bay Area Fashion Network-Joseph Domingo and Pigment cosmetics for making this wonderful event happen for the 2
nd year and so glad I was a part of this amazing production and very talented team.
Designers who showcased mini collections were: Acta Non Verba, Dcepcion, Cari Borja, Dahae Kim, Daniel Sudar, Verrieres & Sako, Gr.dano and Joseph Domingo.
Enjoy some pictures I took at the backstage and a video from the runway!
